February 2012 - Southwest of downtown Phoenix is a
junkyard that specializes in parts from rust-free Cadillacs from 1961 models to present. If you are involved the
restoration of old Cadillacs and live in Arizona,
you probably already know about this place. On this day, I visited with two friends who were searching for
various parts for their classic Cadillacs. To be honest, they did much of the searching and
I was in charge of the photography. Oh and yes folks, below the sign is the front bumper of
a 1964 Cadillac laying conspicuously in front! :)

Junkyards and auto salvage businesses are quite fun to photograph. :) |

A parts car of a 1961 Cadillac.
Aside from the 1959 model, I think the 1961 Cadillac is my second favorite model of all-time. |

1963 Cadillac parts car. |
|
One of their 1964 Cadillacs. Last year,
I came close to buying this right rear quarter panel for my '64 Cadillac,
but sadly, I received an offer to sell that I could not refuse. |
|
I felt sad to see so many old Cadillac beauties in mangled condition.
That's a gold 1969 or 1970 Cadillac on the left. |
|
A 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.
The bumper and tail lights seemed in good shape. |
|
A 1978 Cadillac Eldorado.
This was the final year of the Eldorado's larger body. |
|
On the humorous side, it looked like the "blood and guts" of
this 1973 Eldorado was oozing out of the trunk. :) |

Door panels, hoods, quarter panels, window regulators, radio antennas, you name it.
Whatever you need, there's a good chance they have it. This is a family run business for many years and they do ship auto parts nationally. Their website is www.aanationalautoparts.com. |
